Services

Calibration, diagnosis, and the hardware in between

Five things this shop does properly, and a longer list it is authorized to take on. If what you need is not named here it is probably still something we can schedule. Ask.

The five core services

Nearly everything that comes through the door is one of these, or one of these plus the hardware to support it. Most first visits start with a baseline pull, because it is the cheapest way to replace an argument with a measurement.

The shop is in Coupland, an easy run east of Austin, and work is quoted after we have seen the car rather than from a menu. Two engines with the same badge on the back can need very different amounts of time, and pretending otherwise is how customers end up with a bill they did not expect.

Also authorized

The longer list

Our work authorization covers considerably more than the five pages above. These come up often enough to be worth naming.

  • Camshaft selection and installation
  • Fuel system and injector upgrades
  • Exhaust and header work
  • Transmission and shift calibration
  • Engine rebuilding and engine swaps
  • Nitrous and methanol injection systems
  • Suspension modification
  • Installation of aftermarket performance components

Pricing

Starting figures

Enough to work out whether this is for you. Anything involving parts or machine work is quoted after we have seen the car.

Dyno session

Most booked

from$250

Three to four runs on the rollers, with the printed run sheet to take away. The most common reason people book.

Custom tuning

from$250/ hour

Dyno time is included in the hourly rate, not billed on top of it.

Vehicle inspection

add-on$75

Optional, on top of a session. OBDII scan plus tires, brakes, engine, transmission and driveline condition. Carried out at the customer's own risk.

HP Tuners credits

from$50/ credit

License credits that unlock write access to your ECU. Charged separately because the count depends on the vehicle (typically 2 to 20).

Not sure which one you need?

Most people book a baseline pull first. An hour on the rollers answers the question better than an hour on the phone.
